A Letter from Pastor Aaron
Dear Bridge Church Family,
It's been an exciting year of growth at The Bridge! Each week it's been a delight to hear our congregation sing loudly to the Lord in worship, pray fervently for God's guidance, provision and protection, and walk in the Spirit as we each continue to do our part in connecting others to the love of Jesus.
I wanted to take a moment, though, as Easter Sunday approaches to remind you of the unique power and significance of Christ's resurrection in our lives and in our faith.
The resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of our hope and the definitive proof of God's love for us. Jesus triumphed over sin and death, making a way for us to experience life to its fullest now and for eternity with Him. This powerful event is not just a historical occurrence but has a direct impact on our lives today.
Because of Christ's resurrection, we are called to be new creatures – people transformed by the hope we have in Him. We’re empowered through His Spirit to live lives of love, grace, and service. In moments of difficulty, we can rest in the assurance that Jesus is alive and active, interceding for us at the right hand of the Father!
The resurrection also reminds us that our faith is rooted in an unshakable hope. As we face the many challenges of this life, we cling to the certainty that Christ has overcome all obstacles, and through faith in Him, we know that the ultimate victory belongs to us as well.
This weekend, it is my prayer that each of us would rejoice in the power of Christ's resurrection, allowing it to shape our lives, our families, and our community! We have a packed weekend planned so I hope you can join us for one or all of the opportunities to celebrate Jesus with us this Easter.
1. Invite your family and friends to our unique Good Friday service which will focus on Christ’s redemptive work on the cross. It begins at 6:30p.
2. Join our Saturday prayer time at 8:00a which will have a special prayer focus for each of our ministries on Easter Sunday.
3. Celebrate with us on Sunday morning at 10:00a!
May you all be filled with a renewed sense of awe and gratitude for our Risen King, the Lord of all and the hope that He brings to each of our lives. I look forward to being with each of you throughout the weekend!
I love you all!
With grace and peace,
Pastor Aaron
